Get to Know Daniel Raiffe
Daniel Raiffe is a producer with nearly a decade worth of experience in film and television, focusing on work that dives to the heart of characters in both documentary and narrative alike. Raiffe co-produced the critically acclaimed documentary Sexy Baby, which premiered at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival additionally screening at Hot Docs, IDFA before being broadcast on Showtime, and streaming on Netflix. More recently, Raiffe associate produced the highly publicized Hot Girls Wanted, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film festival and currently streams exclusively on Netflix.
In moving from documentaries to narrative, Raiffe spent time as a development intern at Big Beach Films and is currently finishing up post-production on his first scripted feature Progress and Unrelated Things. Raiffe’s early work was geared more towards physical production, working on television shows such as Fox’s Fringe, Bobby Flay Throwdown and MSG Network. Additionally, Raiffe has produced countless short films, music videos as well as client videos for organizations such as the Actors Fund of America. Raiffe holds a BFA in film from Syracuse and an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University. Daniel is a born-and-raised Floridian, which makes it very obvious he would be an avid hockey player.
